30 paintingsin30days! Day 5. Todays painting is ‘Wetland Wonder’ – it looks as if there is a wetland theme happening here. Its a small plein air painting with a gorgeous summer sunshine.

Today’s bird is the Kookaburra who was sitting in a tree above me laughing whilst I painted. I hadn’t been to this spot for a while and was delighted to find that there was still water in it. The water was dark brown and the red earth on the bank combined with the light catching the trunks of the curly trees attracted me to paint this scene.
