Today is Day 2 of the 30paintingsin30days! challenge and the painting is a small plein air painting from the Bellarine Rail Trail called ‘Rail Trail Waterhole’. Its great that there is still water in the dams as they often dry up in mid summer. While I was painting in the shade of a nice leafy gum tree, a spoonbill arrived and waded around at the edge of the dam looking for a feed. Unfortunately I didn’t get a pic of him.
